Jatki

Jatki is one of the most beautiful places in Wrocław and commonly visited by tourists as well. In the medieval, the place used to be owned by butchers who were selling meat here. As a reminder what was the role of this place a bronze statue "In memorial of slaughter animals" was build here. The statue is made of full-size animals. In time Jatki became a residential area. In the back of the so-called "Old Jatki" you can see a Painting street. Nowadays Na Jatkach is known for art galleries and workshops of Wrocław artists.
